About Me:

My name is Samaaya Agarwal and I am a junior in high school. I am very passionate about women's studies - especially helping those living in poverty and victims of domestic abuse. I decided to channel this passion into creating an organization that serves this purpose. Most importantly, I want to provide women with some form of relief, especially for mothers who are forced to raise their children under less-than-ideal conditions. But now, I realize how little people know about poverty and domestic abuse. I like to think that most people are aware of others' conditions, but it is hard for some to grasp what it feels like, and cold, hard facts don't help this issue. I want people to be able to visualize the struggle and empathize with those who are experiencing it. By publicizing the troubling realities of poverty and domestic abuse, I want to channel my passion into helping more women and encouraging more people to fight the good fight.
